Today marks an end of a beginning. People say that what follows will be a long trajectory but I beg to differ. I see it as closure. A peace of mind. Everybody has the strength and ability to persist through adversity. Real men and women don't spend inordinate amounts of time throwing pity parties. Yes, it takes time needed to heal, we might be a little timid at first, wounds might be tender, but life goes on.
The Eagles said it best. Addressing the whiney and victim-hood attitude of our times, they recorded "Get Over It."

yeah... and he also sang "sometimes love just ain't enough" with petty smith & the heart of the matter... i like those songS!

Classic rock is awesome. I've been trying to get either Steve Perry or Don Henley to sing at my Bar Mitzvah. They have yet to return my calls.
